I'm Going To Paint Myself  A Picture..

 (drawing by Rachelle)

I'M GOING TO PAINT MYSELF A PICTURE

I'm going to paint myself a picture,
Of you and me in love.
I'll put us in a meadow,
With a sky of blue above.

Refrain: Oh, what a pretty picture we'll make.
I hope you think so too.
And when I'm finished with it
I'm going to sell it to you.

There'll be daisy's growing wildly.
And bluebirds singing sweet.
And you'll be humming softly
And I'll be at your feet.

Refrain: Oh, what a pretty picture we'll make
I hope you think so too.
And when I'm finished with it
I'm going to sell it to you.

I'll paint my lips like cherry wine
And shade your eyes with lovelight.
Your features will be bold and strong
And you'll want me with all your might.

Refrain: Oh, what a pretty picture we'll make
I hope you think so too.
And when I'm finished with it
I'm going to sell it to you.
