Washdays

(picture of Joanne washing out her hand-me downs)

Washdays..

Washdays are so hard to bare.

Dirty clothes piles everywhere!

Never are they extra bright,

So, I thought that I just might

Try some brand new washday magics

To whiten all my dingy fabrics.

In went the soap and bleach and softener,

Deciding to experiment oftener.

It was the brightest wash I'd seen!

Next time, the pockets I must clean,

For every piece was saturated,

With a tissue that disintegrated!

Why not just use one large jug of CLOROX

like Grandma Nettie????
